SIBS has just launched a new service that will allow companies to systematize their sustainability indicators for the purpose of accessing bank financing.
Risk analysis associated with so-called ESG factors (good practices in environmental management, social protection, and governance) has started to be part of financing decisions and companies must be prepared to gather information that helps them demonstrate their alignment with objectives sustainable development, ensuring compliance with European regulations and facilitating your approach to financiers.
With the new SIBS ESG solution, companies will be able to manage, through a single platform, their sustainability information and share the necessary data with the various banking institutions they work with in Portugal.
The calculation of Greenhouse Gas emissions and the alignment of the company’s activities with the environmental taxonomy criteria in terms of weight in turnover, capital expenses, CAPEX, or operational expenses, OPEX, are examples of metrics which will now be included in the financing requirements, and which the new platform will help to account for through a set of tools that it makes available in an integrated manner, with the aim of making the entire process easier and simplifying sustainability reporting practices .
Companies can also count on a SIBS support team, which will guarantee all the necessary monitoring when joining and using the platform.
