Sciencentris, a company incubated at Avepark’s TechPark, participated in the International Conference on Fashion and Sustainability (ICFS), held from October 27 to 29 at Wuhan Textile University in China, a global reference event dedicated to research and innovation in functional and sustainable materials.
The conference brought together researchers, companies, and institutions from various countries, including China, Italy, Greece, and the United Kingdom, to discuss trends in surface science, textile engineering, smart textiles, and sustainable design. During the event, Ana Fangueiro, representing Sciencentris, was interviewed by Fashion Design students, discussing the impact of sustainability on new generations of creators and the transformation of the textile sector.
Sciencentris’ participation in ICFS reinforces its commitment to scientific innovation, international collaboration, and the integration of sustainable practices into technological development processes.
