Registrations for the 4th Edition of the Innovative Status COTEC, a seal of reputation and prestige aimed at distinguishing and publicly recognizing companies, are now open until April 30th, and with news. This year’s edition will expand the Innovative Status to include factors related to sustainability.
It’s called the Green Innovative Status, and it will allow assigning a rating to companies regarding their performance in innovation and potential sustainability, granting new advantages in terms of privileged financing conditions by national banks to innovative and sustainable companies that manage to obtain it.
The Green Innovative Status aligns with COTEC’s purpose to encourage companies to shift business models towards investment in sustainable business practices and to contribute to greater transparency in supply chains through ESG reporting in accordance with European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
Since its inception, the COTEC Innovative Status has been an indicator of the development of the innovation economy in Portugal, through the recognition of over 1000 national companies in terms of innovation and excellence in economic performance.
Applications are now open and can be submitted until April 30, 2024 (here).
