TecPark is the municipal technology-based incubator. It has capacity for 20 companies, preferably spin-offs and start-ups, understood as companies originating from the university sector, polytechnic institutes or industry, or with strong and rapid growth potential in terms of turnover and job creation. Other companies, namely those that promote the transfer of advanced knowledge to industrial production, have a technological base, or are promoted by young entrepreneurs in the fields of internationalisation, information technologies, communications and electronics, computing, programming, product design, energy, environment, biotechnology and engineering, and which, in general, are based on a scientific field of knowledge or contribute to innovation in processes, production methods or business management, are also considered priority beneficiaries of the incubator.

TecPark is part of Set.Up Guimarães, a structure that has already supported more than 140 startups, developed a network of over 35 mentors, and organised hundreds of training and networking events for startups within the community.
