This Christmas, be a Child’s Wish Star!
For the second consecutive year, the Municipality of Guimarães, through Guimarães Marca and Set.Up Guimarães, is joining forces with sitio.co to make the Christmas wishes of children and young people from ADCL, Casa da Criança, Casa da Caldeiroa, and the Youth Shelter of Centro Juvenil de São José come true.
The initiative, which last year involved dozens of people and companies, returns with the same goal: to make Christmas more special for those who need it most. This year, the invitation is once again extended to the community: we are looking for Stars—individuals, institutions, or companies—willing to play Santa Claus and grant a gift chosen by each child.
How to participate:
Each participant can consult the wish list and choose which gift to fulfill, becoming the Star that will brighten a child or young person’s Christmas. Gifts should be delivered by 5:00 PM on December 16 to one of the following locations:
- Avepark
- Lab.PAC (Platform for Arts and Creativity)
- sitio.co
The main delivery will take place on December 19 during a Christmas celebration specially organized for the occasion at sitio.co.

This is an opportunity for the entire Guimarães community—citizens, associations, and companies—to join forces and spread joy, directly contributing to a happier Christmas for dozens of children and young people in the municipality.
