This week, IAPMEI released a new cycle of incentives for SMEs that wish to accelerate their transition to sustainability through investments in productive innovation.
The new competitions are launched under the Portugal 2030 financing program and applications are open until the end of the year, divided into two phases, totaling support of 500 million euros.
“The incentives are aimed at operations that contribute to improving the productive capabilities of SMEs and the development of innovative, digital and sustainable solutions”, he shares on the official website.
Improvements in the manufacturing process, logistics, distribution, organization and marketing can also be submitted. “In terms of climate transition, this includes processes related to design and ecological efficiency, the valorization of circularity, energy efficiency, among other strategies to reduce the carbon footprint”, he adds.
The same announcement states that there is support for collective actions for decarbonization with applications open until July 31st.
