The MIT Portugal Innovation Workshop 2025 will take place from June 9 to 13, at the MIT Campus, with applications open until March 18, 2025. The program, which is hands-on, is designed to provide participants with an immersive experience in the creation of ventures and the commercialization of high-impact research and technologies.
Targeted at early-stage entrepreneurs, students, and researchers, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the applicability of their ideas and research in business contexts. Participants will have access to interactive seminars and activities led by experts from the MIT ecosystem and successful entrepreneurs, who will share essential knowledge on how to transform research into entrepreneurial impact.
The program will cover skills such as an entrepreneurial mindset, assessing the commercial potential of an idea, selecting the initial target market, mitigating risks in product/market fit, identifying strategic partners, and building teams.
